800 on Biology - possible?

I'm a homeschooled student taking the Biology subject test sometime this autumn, probably in November. I'll have been going through the Campbell textbook from this May till the end of December.

I have the Princeton Review biology book and the Official Subject Test book - how should I prepare for the Biology SAT, aside from working through the Campbell book? How many questions can one usually miss before one falls below an 800 on Bio?

Thanks ^^.

You can miss around 5 and still get an 800. Campbell will prepare you so much, in fact it will go way beyond what’s on the SAT. Just go through that and maybe Barron’s b/c it will give you some random info that might appear. The PR is pretty accurate from what I hear. You will be more than ready and capable.

Definitely consider getting Barron’s. It is extremely thorough.

am i screwed if i self studied just from PR? haha

PR is definitely good to study first since it gives you a broad picture, but I would definitely use one of the others such as Barrons for more details.

So I should go through the PR book first and then the Barron’s one, besides doing all the tests?
