My friend's D scored an 800 on writing, 720 on CR and 680 on math. Will the 800 really help her? How many students scored an 800 on the writing?

I think getting an 800 on the writing is the easiest 800 there is because you can miss a couple of the multiple choice questions. I know another girl who got an 800 on the writing as well…

Overall, the 800 will boost her score, but it’s not outstanding. Especially because colleges put more weight on the CR and math sections.

A perfect score on the writing section is statistically the most rare, but that doesn’t mean it’s the most highly valued… getting an 800 on either math or CR is much better in the college admissions game, as some colleges disregard the writing section completely.

She should work on getting math and CR up.

I always thought 800 on critical reading was the most difficult. Oh well, 800 writing is great as well. But it all depends on which college she’s applying to.

personally, i find the writing section to be ridiculously easy.

however, the numbers negate that assumption (less people scored an 800 on the writing section than on any other section)

so kudos to all who got perfects on that section (including me, lol)

i got an 800
not on wirting thought, on math

“thought”, ha, thats why i didn’t get an 800 on writing =)
i meant to say “though”
