I completed four high school level courses in 8th grade. They appear on my transcript, and I received credit for them. How do I indicate I took these classes? Should I put them under my freshman year classes?

Thats unusual. Generally, most high schools just put what you took between freshmen to senior year. I would call Rutgers to make sure. I’ve taken a course that is a high school level course in middle school, but my high school never indicated it or counted towards my high school GPA.

The reason high school courses are taken in middle school is bc you can place higher in certain subjects in high school. For example: If you took Algebra or Geometry in 8th grade, you can place in Algebra II or Pre-Calc in high school which will give you an advantage to take AP classes and so on. These courses taken in 8th grade will not show up on your high school transcript most of the times. Check with your guidance to make make sure before you report anything to RU.

I am positive these courses appear on my high school transcript. I guess I will email them

If anyone else was wondering the same thing, admissions said to list it under 9th grade (wow, I have 14 courses now lol)
