<p>I'm applying for Deerfield, Andover, Exeter,Hotchkiss and Blair, and I want to know if the acceptance rates of those Schools in 10th grade are too lower than the 9th grade rates?
I'm just really worried with my chances : /</p>

<p>Take Neato’s advice on the last thread. Even by prep school standards, which are more flexible than most, you’re really too old for ninth grade. These schools are very savvy about international students, and I don’t imagine most would even give you the choice to apply as a ninth grader. This isn’t entirely your decision, no matter what your school at home is tellng you. </p>
<p>That said, while 10th grade admits fewer students, the pool is smaller too so the admit rate is generally about the same. That will vary some by school of course.</p>
