Considering no prep, and I was sick this isn't too bad of a score is it?

no, not at all

Okay, I don't really have anything to compare it to so... When I saw the number it didn't really mean anything to me.

Thanks.

If the average is 150, why would anyone think a 192 is a bad score? If you study for the SAT, I'm sure you'll do really wll when you take it later on in the year.

In my opinion anything over 180 is very respectable

All right thank you. I had no idea what a good score would be so... That's why I asked.

^I didn't have much of a clue either when I took it. Our school just told us to aim for a 180

If you took it to prepare for the SAT, now you know what areas you need the most practice on.

If you took it to make National Merit Semifinalist, well, your score isn't high enough. But it's a difficult test; harder to get a high score than on the SAT because it's shorter & every question counts for more.

For example, we know a kid who got a perfect 2400 on the SAT but only 235 on the PSAT ("perfect" would have been 240.)

You can up that a lot with prep. My daughter went from a 193 to a 2130 in a few months.
