I am a junior in high school. The summer going into my freshman year, I was put into an intensive care program, because I was suffering from an eating disorder. Needless to say, it really messed up my grades my freshman and sophomore year. I missed a lot of school because of therapy appointments, had to meet with my nutritionist, and had to deal with a lot of mental issues. My junior year, I am dealing with severe bullying. This is really affecting my grades. I know I am capable of better grades, I scored a 2100 on my SAT. My dream school to go to is New York University specifically the Tish School of the Arts. I plan on graduating high school by the end of the summer, taking courses at a local college as well, apply to NYU in the fall, continue taking classes at the local school, and keep my fingers crossed that I'm admitted to the summer or fall semester. What do you think my chances are? If you think I have any shot at all, please give me any bits of advice you can. I really don't want to see myself continue to suffer from this eating disorder and bullying, especially now that it's coming to an end.
Thank you!
