A 4 on the AP and a 750 on the SAT II

I don't get how this happened. I took the SAT II the next day in May and got a 750, but on the AP I got a 4. Should I bother asking for a rescore? It was a one day difference and what I knew on Friday was the same as Saturday. I just don't want to waste $25 on a rescore only to learn that the 4 was what I actually got.

A 4 is a pretty respectable score. Perhaps the SAT II was simply easier than the AP. It's a possibility--for languages, at least, you should have 3 years of study, while to prepare to get a 5 on the AP you need four, five or more years.

Don't do it, SAT tends to be much easier than AP from what I've seen.

Here's the thing though, I know someone who got a 680 and a 5 on the AP. So it doesn't make sense.

The essays can affect the scoring. Maybe the essay topics were easy for him and were not as easy for you, while the sat 2 covered topics that he was rusty on while you were more confident in? There can be many reasons why that happened.

Don't do it. They are both good scores.

Yeah i got a 650 on the SAT 2 Spanish and a 5 on the AP Spanish 3 days later, proves how BS the SAT can be.

They rarely ever make mistakes in AP test grading. Your 4 is a 4.

There is no proven correllation between SAT and AP scores.

A 4, in whatever test it was, is still a really good score, I found the AP to be MUCH harder than the SAT II I took, so I think that actually makes more sense. I'm the opposite, got a 5 on the AP and a 730 on the SAT II within a day of each other.

Well, the SAT II is supposed to be for people who've taken the regular version, also.

And a four is a really good score.

yea, ap is alot harder, atleast from what i've experienced
