A big sigh as the last letter arrives

So this is a thread about the end of an incredibly difficult process. Fortunately for us there are acceptances as well as rejections. Last couple "non admittance" letters came for my D today. CMU wanted to know if she wanted to be admitted to their College of Humanities and Social Sciences (amusing). And today she got a letter offering Honors program at UC San Diego. She has a few more nice acceptances to BA Theater programs, Bucknell and Santa Clara. And a great BFA Theatre offer I think she will take with part scholarship. I was feeling badly she didn?t get more acceptances to MT and BFA theater programs, and I had to remember that I kept asking the universe to show her the right course to take. And it is so clear, and I want to appreciate it, and I am very grateful. Thank you to all who post here for the information, guidance, and support. Good luck, and I hope your path unfolds in front of you. Now I have to wean myself from this board.

Accept, I noticed that your D was accepted to USC for theatre. My D has a theatre friend from high school that goes to school at USC and LOVES it! Best of luck to your D as she makes her final decision.

Thank you, I think she is going for the USC BFA in theatre. Is your D's friend in theatre?

USC's BFA in theatre is VERY strong from what I've heard. Many considered among the top in the nation.

accept, my Ds friend is a sophomore in the theatre department and has really enjoyed it.
