Does anyone know when they're announcing their decisions?

Oh my stars! I have been trying to figure that out FOREVER! If you find out please message me and let me know.

I got my acceptance letter on Dec. 23rd!

Theaterbrat,

Was your acceptance to the acting BFA program?

Theaterbrat, aren't you going for Theater Management? I have a feeling that acting students haven't heard yet. Not sure, but that is my observation.

No it was to the D&P program. I wish I was going for theater manegement, that is what I would really like to go into, but they only have that in Graduate studies.

What is D&P? Thanks.

EDIT>...oops, figured it out....Design and Production.

Design and Production

For BFA drama majors, apparently, they started calling people today. i'm really nervous now. : (

Are you serious? Ahhh the nerves are contagious!

Our son is D&P also, lighting design and he knew Dec 1st. Now the tricky part is financial aid - they let you know May 1st. That timing makes it hard to say yes or no to other schools and make a final decision. I didn't realize all the acting acceptances were sent/called at the same time. Waiting isn't fun - good luck everyone!

Everyone will be fine. No matter what happpens. It seems like the end of the world now. But you all will be alright at the end.

Especially JeffB because he is amazing and no matter what happens he has this amazing girlfriend who will help him.

Thank you, LizMT. You're right, you are amazing. : )
I love you.

Ah, sweet love right here on CC! :D

so talltex did you recieve a phone call or did you hear through the mail?

My d got an e-mail saying she has been accepted and that a letter is on the way.

oh alright, thank you.

Hmmm, I think I'm giving up hope on NCSA... I still haven't heard from them. I found a group on facebook called "NCSA (NC Arts) Drama Class of 2011" and there are already five members. On the discussion board, one guy mentioned that he received an acceptance letter three WEEKS ago.

I wouldn't give up quite yet. Our official letter has still not arrived.

DS is a music major who applied there. He received a letter that he had "passed the audition" (not worded that way), and also a phone call from the music teacher telling him that he would be receiving a finaid package "soon". That was three weeks ago. He's still waiting.
