A Bit Worried Right Now..

Last December, I was accepted to MIT through early action, and through my third marking period, I have maintained a 4.0 gpa. In anticipation of senioritis, I took 5 classes this semester instead of 6 (4 of which are APs).
Two of my AP classes are through an online provider, and due to some school policy that I was informed of this spring, I have to have my classes done by May 18th, a full month before the online provider’s end date. As a result of this policy, as well as an increased workload from my other classes, I will only be able to finish my online AP physics class with a C or D, due to so many incomplete assignments.
My questions is that, if I manage to maintain A’s in my other classes, but get a D in or possibly fail my online physics class, do you think this would be grounds for a rescinded admission?

D’s and F’s make that a very real concern, I’ve heard, for most schools.

The school policy seems silly, or the fact that they just told you. Or was it your responsibility to check whether the clas ended before May 18?

Are you able to drop it?

I think that I can drop it. Should I drop it? Would MIT rather see four A’s than four A’s and 1 C or D?

I think you should talk with the admissions office in the near future and ask what they’d like to see.

Would it be possible to have an AP Physics grade in progress for the school, but to finish the course with the online provider and send the final grade to MIT directly? I suspect MIT will not care about your school giving you a D if you can send a B or an A a month later when the online course finishes.

The course has to be finished before the test, right?
