A C in Sophomore year?

Hey, so I’m currently a sophomore in highschool and I think I might end APWH with a C, which sucks and I’m kind of nervous on how it’ll play on my transcript for when I apply to a UC :confused:

I was wondering how bad of a C can hurt me in my chances? Like, if my grades are all As by next year and I’ve only had 3 Bs so far? (First sem and probably this sem cause AVID is tough, last semester my APWH was a B-)

One C will not keep you out of many schools including the UC’s but you need to make sure you do well in the rest of your classes since the UC’s will only look at your 9-11th grades in their application review and they only use 10-11th grades for their GPA calculation.

Also figure out why you are not doing well in APWH and how you can improve for next year’s classes.
