SAT scores: (here is where it's bad)-
Critical Reading 610
Math 590
Writing 710

Should I retake the SAT in October?

Thanks a lot!

for career, I'm thinking of either pharmacy or dental.
I DO live in state.

Yes I would take the SAT again and get your math and CR up to around the mid 600’s and after that I would say you are a very likely in. Your classes and EC’s look very similar to mine (I was admitted to UNC in-state). Only difference I spot is the SAT scores. Other than that you’re a shoe in though.

Thanks. If you don’t mind me asking, how much different were your SAT’s?

yeah, just bring up ur SAT scores by ~100 points between math and CR and you’ll most likely get in…

I got in with 780math, 640 CR, and 590 Writing…

UNC Median for CR and Math are in the Mid 600’s 650 on both your a lock. I got 650M 670 CR and 720 W. Just aim for the Median

Okay thanks! I did not review either time for SATs, I just took it 2x and somehow hoped to do better. I’m definitely going to be reviewing math a lot, and a little bit of CR.
