Is ok if I don't use the most recent edition? (I was going to get the 10th edition for physics, chemistry and math.)

Is Barron's good for these subjects?

Using just the Barron's prep book, will I score a 700+ if I've only taken the honors versions of all of these subjects?

And how high should my score be for it to be worthy of sending to colleges?

Thanks!

-It is perfectly fine to use old editions. When I was studying for US History and Biology, I used the 2007-2009 editions, and they were perfectly fine (got a 770 and 780). There’s usually barely anything added or removed from addition to addition. (Just make sure that no information is being added or removed).

-I’ve never used Barrons but I’ve heard that they are good. They contain extra information so that you throughly know the subject and can score high. I’d recommend taking the AP course though, for the subject tests you’re going to take, as they make you even more prepared.

-The book, if you really read and study it carefully and thoroughly give you enough information to score over 700. Just make sure you read EVERYTHING (maybe even several times because you’re not taking the AP course).

-For top colleges , at least 700 is fine. For really top colleges (Ivies, Stanford, MIT, etc.) 750 is probably the lowest you want.

Good luck!

Thanks! I would have taken the AP versions but they aren’t offered at my school, except AP calc which I ll be taking. I was going to do the english satII’s because I score high on those (34 on english on ACT) but they say that you need to take the subject tests that pertain to your major, and I want to major in engineering so…

Thanks agains though
