<p>Are invitations for all the various merit scholarships made at the same time? I have seen mid-February mentioned.
If one is invited to interview for a merit scholarship, does that mean one is admitted to WashU?</p>

<p>I’m interested too in the timing and method of notifying finalists for the various scholarships? E-mail? Phone call? Update on website? Will those who are not selected as finalists be notified also?</p>
<p>I would think so that they should notify the Finalist and those who couldn’t made the List
If I recall I saw 1 post last year where a Student was invited but end up getting Rejected for admission to the school. Also read they invited 30-40 Scholars in Total and then choose 16 or so.</p>
