Hi all! Hope you're having a splendid Christmas day (or just a regular day if you don't celebrate.)

I'm currently taking Piano at my school to fulfill the UC arts requirement. It isn't an AP class and it is definitely not the hardest class. Would colleges make note of this and deem my course load a bit less rigorous than it should?

In the summer, I took math classes at my school. It was the only way to skip a math class because local community colleges didn't allow students of my age. The program cost around 1000 bucks and since my family was low income, I had to take up a job paying for it. I worked but didn't have the time to study so I ended up with 2 B's. All my other math classes in high school (i've taken all of what my school has to offer) are currently with A's/5's. Is a B really that bad and does this sound more like an excuse rather than an actual reason?

Thanks all if you read and or answer this!
