"It is your responsibility to ensure that all required application materials are sent to USC by the posted deadlines. Applications postmarked after the deadlines listed above are not guaranteed a priority review. In no case will applications be returned or application fees refunded."

My advice, ask your counselor if they can pack and prepare the transcripts and recs into their envelope and seal it. Now instead of them mailing it, you just take it to the post office and pay the postage and ask them to postmark it in front of you. I told the guy what it was and he was pretty courtious when I told him the situation. He went on to give it to one of the workers (I think his tag said supervisor or something to that effect) and said "Jen (or whatever her name was) can take this young man's package and start processing it immediately?" One of the rare good experiences at the post office lol.

"Scholarship forms?" If you mean you are sending the admissions application and you want to send it by the due date of Dec. 10., yes, that would be fine. (If you are referring to some other scholarship form, sorry, I'm not sure what that is.)

But I think if I were sending the app between now and Dec. 10, I'd get a receipt from the post office (to prove postmark.)

For the USC scholarship deadline which is "by" December 10th, does anyone know 100% if tha means i must submit my online application "BEFORE" December 10th? or does it mean that i can submit it "ON" December 10th. Thanks so much, this is really important

There was mixed information on the USC website regarding received by/postmarked by, especially on the Cinematic Arts/Screenwriting site. Luckily, I called and they said postmarked. Still, I Fedex'd it overnight on the 10th just to be sure.
