Usc Deadline???

ok, so there's two.

i don't see the difference...

if you submit your app b4 next week(12/10), does that mean you'll get a scholarship or what?

if i submit my app before the regular deadline but after 12/10, does that mean i don't get any scholarships at all??

i don't get it )):

You turn in the application by December 10 to be in the running for scholarships; it's the priority deadline. If you submit your application in January you do not get scholarships.

ok thanks.
do i also need the teacher's rec letters in by 12/10 also?

I think you do. I know that sucks huih? I have to ask for my teachers to do recs again by the 10th.

do you think submitting the early application will show interest as well?

actually here's anotehr question i've been meaning to ask along hte same lines.
if you submit your app before 12/10 and you're not really scholarship material but you just want to get your app in by priority deadline, will it affect your chances because you're in the same batch as the 2200 SAT, 4.0 people, and comparison between you and them alters the adcoms minds a bit? even if you're not aiming for scholarship, just aiming for early submission.

No, it won't affect your chances.

Here's an e-mail I got from USC:

Thank you for your inquiry.

Transcripts and letters of recommendation do not have to be received by the December 10th deadline, but should be sent as close to that date as possible in order for us to receive and process them in time to be reviewed with the student's application for scholarships.

A transcript is considered official when we receive it in the sealed envelope the school provides. It can be mailed by the school or the applicant and be considered official as long as the seal is not broken.

If the SAT test was taken at the earliest December sitting of the test, the official score report from the testing agency should be received in time to consider them with your scholarship application. To ensure we have your current scores, we recommend you mail a photocopy of your test score report. Results from tests taken after the earliest December sitting should be rushed to us; there is no guarantee they will be available for our scholarship review.

Documents mailed to us separately from the Admission Application should be mailed to the address listed below.
