"A" Course Requirement Unfulfilled?

<p>As a high school senior looking to apply to a few UC’s out of state, I just realized I may have not completed A of the A-G requirements.</p>

<p>Unless I’m misunderstanding, is it required to take both US history AND world history/geography/culture? </p>

<p>What if you have taken APUSH and other social science classes that aren’t world history etc.?</p>

<p>APUSH counts as one year of US history.</p>

<p>World history/geography/culture means non-US, not the entire world, so AP European History counts, as does AP Human Geography and specialized geographic history options (e.g. Asian History, History of Ancient Greece and Rome).</p>
