a D and a C= rejection?? Help

hi...i posted my thread about this topic before,..but not many people have replied....i wanna hear more people's opinions on this,.

i havre been admitted to JHU under ED

since it was ED, i sent my first quarter grade in November..

i just have a problem with two of my classes, which are AP/Honors

here are my grades for the 2 classes

first quarter in November- B- and B
First Semester grade - C+ and C - (college said these are fine.)
Second semester grade- D+ or hopefully C, and C

i think for the second semester grade, i will get 2 C's just like in first sem.

but there 's a 50 percent chance that i get D+ for that one class. will this D revoke my admission?
or is there a way to kinda make up for it?
such as retaking this class over summer.(JHU offers online math class over summer for incoming freshman)
or something like getting me on probation that requires good grades once i enter college.

i know that i have been slacking off so much...after the result came out..

but i heard that mid year report is very important..
so i sent a letter to the admission officer and the reply was this.

"There are no set rules to these post-matriculation transcript reviews as each and every situation is taken on a case-by-case basis. Every year a handful of student have their admission rescinded for poor grades, disciplinary actions, and/or providing false information in their application.
As what constitutes poor grades, we will evaluate for a serious downgrade in performance. Typically this is seen in a number of C and D grades, as well as any failures. Having a mild case of "senioritis," struggling with a rigorous curriculum, or a slight drop in your typically perfomance (Bs now instead of As) is all understandable. It is when there are a number of seriously poor grades will a reconsideration be necessary."

so like said above, they say unless it's Severe downgrade im fine,

am i in really big trouble? is there any hope?
im worried that my admission might get revoked.. what do u guys think?

thank you for reading this..

Yes. Any grade lower than an A dooms you to automatic rejection everywhere you apply. You might as well pick up your application for McDonalds now.

dude..basically

dont FAIL any classes, and you'll be fine...

the only people that get rescinded are those whose gpa's plummet from like 3.75-2.75 or fail multiple classes.

if you can pass thats even better it would pretty much guarantee you that u wont get rescinded..but yeah as i had said earlier..a d+ and a couple c's..will not get you rescinded..

possibly academic probation..or like a warning letter from the college or something..but yeah dude dont beat yourself up over it..focus on just passing for now..the school years almost over there isnt much u can do..

you'll get a warning letter and will most likely be asked to meet up with your counselor periodically to make sure your senior incident was just a isolated incident of senioritis/difficulty of class or both. Based on your first semester grades you also MAY go on academic probation but try your best to stay off taht since that stays on your record permanently

Actually, at a lot of schools Academic Probation doesn't stay on your record 'forever'....Look up JHU's policy with regards to this, but I doubt they'll put you on it anyway....As they said, multiple Cs and Ds, not a couple.

flong is on target. You may get a warning letter, you may have to meet with a counselor, you won't be rescinded. All of this is assuming you don't have an actual problem that caused these grades, in which case you may be totally fine.
