College summer rejection

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this under, but I am wondering how drastically your second semester grades have to drop for the college that accepted you to change their mind about your admission into the fall semester. I had a bad Second Semester. My first semester grades were 2 A's 1 B and 2 C's. My Second semester grades were 2 C's and 3 D's. Yeah, I know. Yikes. If you guys are kind enough to answer, bear in mind that the college I'm going to isn't an Ivy League school. Far from it, in fact. It isn't the best, but it isn't bad.

Thanks.

I finished with a D and two Cs and as of now, I wasnt rescinded. I think 3 Ds and 2 Cs would put you in jeopardy depending on the classes and class level (H,CP,AP).

One C was in Honors English, the other in AP European History. The D was in Physics, Pre-Cal (who doesn't have a bad grade in that class?), and Computer Programming (I can't stand computers).

Yeah, I got a C in Pre-Calc. I deserved a B. I bombed midterm and final and got B's the rest of the quarters. I really dont know what to say to help your situation :/

You got lazy huh? Well its normal. The name of your future college would help.

it depends what school you're going to. a LOT of schools will rescind students for one D. especially if they overaccepted. you should email and ask.

I agree that it depends. I believe the UCs, at least the top ones, have a pretty strict no-D policy...but I could be mistaken.

Don't worry about it if you don't hear from them in like 2 weeks.
