Hi everyone.

I attend Santa Monica College and I intend to transfer to UCLA in a couple of years. I'm doing very well in all transferable courses(I have a 4.0 GPA as of now...it'll probably sink soon, lol), and I'll soon apply to the SMC Scholars program so that I can gain TAP certification prior to applying...the problem is that I may end up getting a "D" grade in a nontransferable math class. The math class is elementary algebra, if that matters.

Will UCLA(Or any other UC, for that matter) care if I get a D in this class? It's still considered passing according to Santa Monica College, so I'd be able to advance to the next math class after this semester is over. Would UCLA reject my future application because I got a D in this class?

Thanks.
