A decision was made on my application

So, I heard back for my graduate school today, I was told “A decision has been made, but we cannot tell you over the phone, a letter goes out Friday” :
The head of the program sent me an email when he submitted his recommendation to the dean of the graduate school, here is a small exert from it:

How worried should I be about being accepted/denied at this point?

You should not be too worried. Most of the time, the graduate college takes the recommendations of the departments, and that means you would get a conditional admission. Occasionally, someone in the graduate college goes on a crusade against some issue or another, and the political infighting upsets the way things are normally done. But that is pretty rare.

You should be accepted, with conditions he mentioned. And really, they aren’t that bad - the only real issue is that if you had a <3.0 GPA in any given semester you would normally go on probation and get a second chance the next semester, but if that happens to you your first semester then you would simply be out.

This is a typical probationary admission. Meet the conditions and you will be in.
