A Dorm Question

I apologise for asking this, but I am so confused:

Exactly where do "regular" freshman end up living in? When I say "regular" I mean as in a non-Honors, non-Scholor, etc. student, lol.

I'm just curious, thats all.

Thanks!

I think its the ellicot community and some stay in the denton community but not the denton dorms but the elkton and easton dorms in the denton community.

aren't there like, 6,000 freshmen though? they all fit there??

not every freshman chooses to live on campus, though most do. the dorms are so packed that they somehow manage to fit everyone who wants housing in there. most freshmen get stuck in dorms in the denton, ellicott, or cambridge communities, which are all high rises, non airconditioned, and far away from pretty much every other building on campus.

thanks! much appreciated!

Just to clarify... three dorms in the cambridge community are not high-rises, one dorm in the ellicott community is air conditioned, the denton community is literally 1 minute from the performing arts center, the ellicott community is literally 1 minute from the student entrance to football games, and the cambridge community is less than 5 minutes from any of the science buildings.

so yeah, while the residence halls around the mall are much closer to most academic buildings, living in the high-rises really isn´t all that bad.
