In the section asking for the favorites and whatnot, are they just asking to make sure we have a personality, or do they actually look at what we say and analyze it? In other words, should I put "A Clockwork Orange" for favorite book instead of "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" because it's more provocative?

put what you is your favorit book, dont try to impress them

A Clockwork Orange was the first thing I thought of too. Odds are if you try to get fancy, you’ll end up standing out less because there’s gonna be other people trying to get fancy too. Either way, I think this section is just to look for any red flags, or to make you feel better by allowing you to let the school know more about your personality, and won’t have any weight unless you put something like “Favorite Book: How to cheat your way through high school.” So be honest.

or putting wikipedia for your website… probably not a good idea

other than that, anything goes, really, nothing too fancy needed, just be honest

I’m probably going to put Jerry Spinelli’s Stargirl, even though I read it first in fourth grade, because it had made the biggest impression on me.

^that’s probably something that’d make you stand out :-).

oh i put hitchhiker’s guide for my favorite book. no worries.

I don’t think its wrong to put Wikipedia as your favorite website =). In fact, I think I have a friend that put wiki as his favorite website.

i’ve just heard from a few of my teachers and my counselor that it’s bad… i love the site, personally, for quick information, but i don’t think i’m gonna put it down
