A Few Questions About SAT II's...

I am going to be a junior next year - this year (June), I took Math II, and Chem. I'm not very impressed with my scores, but it was my first time taking an SAT, so I'm sure I'll do better in the future...

My Scores:
Math II: 690
Chem: 710

Now, the questions:
1) I got a 710 in chem after taking honors chem. Next year I am taking AP chem. Do colleges care when you take the SAT - as in, will it look better to get a 710 after honors, or a 750+ after AP?

2) I got the 690 in math after finishing pre-calc. I don't know how I messed up that badly - I was getting 750+ on Barron's. Anyways, when should I retake it? Next year I am doing BC Calc - should I do it next May/June, or the beginning of next year?

3) I heard that taking Math I the same day as Math II could be benneficial, as it gets you "in the math mindset" - when I take Math II, should I do Math I first (not for the grade, just to get myself into the mindset) - since most colleges won't take them both anyways?

They won’t care when you took the tests.

As for re-taking tests that are not subjects you are taking in HS: my son is taking Bio again in October so he hasn’t gotten too far into the school year. October, the first chance past June, is best so you don’t get too hung up on your other classes.

Taking the hardest test first works for some people. They are usually more pumped up and less tired for the first test.

Retake math in the beginning of your junior year. A lot of my friends who took calc and then took math 2 forgot their pre-calc. Calc BC has basically nothing to do with stuff on the math 2 test.
