I’m going into my Senior year, and I meet all of the A-G requirements for the UC schools except the year of Fine Art. I took Pottery 1 last year, but I need another semester to meet the requirement. If I take Pottery 2 (the next level up from Pottery 1) the first semester of my senior year, will I become eligible for the UC schools? I know the UC schools only look at your Sophomore and Junior year grades, so I wasn’t sure.
You need to complete all the a-g UC course requirements by end of Senior year, so yes taking the 2nd semester of the pottery class will fulfill the 1 year requirement.
10-11th grades are only used for the UC GPA calculation but admissions will look at all 4 years for the a-g course requirements.
