get over yourself kid. i dont care how much you work, you're addicted to yourself. IMHandsome, what a joke...

i dont usually get mad, but these people are helping you, and you totally shoot them down.

you did actually ask for opinions, you asked for chances, which are all opinions. and i doubt any of us are going to chance you with a personality like that.

frankly, i think he will get into a better college, because he can actually interact with other people, such as the admissions officer. rather than being addicted to himself, and thinking he's the greatest. this is why you might get into a good college but you will NEVER get a good job. you just wont be able to interview well. unless you suck up : /

yes, I cannot interact with others, that's why I have 9 officer positions, even when I don't have anytime after school. I must admit, I can't go to any sports events or concerts at my school, but I bet you anything, I have much more friends than you "sectorr." Cool name by the way.

I will not mention how big I am on the internet, since there is no way of proving it, but I bet you anything, sectorr, you would not hit me in person, so please, stop talking shi* on the internet

rofl you are one big joke. im a linebacker for my football team, im pretty sure id hit you. i like how think having an officer position is some big deal. ive seen people be elected to officer positions whom no one knows or cares about. you DEFINITELY don't have more friends than me lol. not even close ;P. im guessing your "friends" are around you for status issues. look over your life and what you've done with it, also get some sleep. you seem a bit cranky : /

im done talking to you, i have better things to do. and shouldnt you be at work?

Oh and a 3.8 weighted GPA is definitely not that impressive, especially for schools like MIT or Cornell. A 3.8 is what you should be getting unweighted.

"james, are you jealous? Ok, realistcally, who's going to get into a better college, me or you? I think you know the answer"
"I will not mention how big I am on the internet"
"I have much more friends than you "sectorr.""
"Just because you guys take time for granted doesn't mean I waste it also."
"are you an admission officer? if not, don't talk for them, I did not post a thread for you all to chew me out for working extremely hard."
"please find a hobby or a video game to play instead of offending people. thank you"

I have to commend you for your hard work, but in my opinion, regardless of whether this is real or not, you seem like you are doing a million things for the sole purpose of college apps..

if you want to aim high, aim higher than just college for starters.. find something you love instead of doing everything

furthermore, be unique and find your identity, don't try to be like everyone else and just be a president of every club. sure, it takes a lot of effort to do what you do, but i don't see the passion...

First of all,i am not a liar, and second of all,I am passionate about all my clubs, most of them are volunteer clubs, if they were totally unrelated, I would be all over the place, but they all connect together. I am going into business, so I decided to do DECA(marketing), FBLA(Business), and HOSA(medical, but even I compete in is current issues). They all tie together. Yes my GPA is only 3.8, but I am sure the colleges will overlook it due to my work hours and club hours. I am not being egotistic, and I am not talking **** like most of you all, so lets wait a year, and see who gets into the better colleges.

And Dear Sectorr,
I highly doubt that you are a linebacker, due to the fact that linebackers usually refer to them as a specific position, such as olb, ot, and etc. Also, you are making a bad stereotype for people with officer positions. I understand that people who win officer positions in clubs such as science club, math club, and other specific academic clubs are sometimes found to be socially awkward, but people who win big officer positions, such as that of a class officer, NHS, and act, are friends with most of their school's student body. So please before going around and talking ***, plz stf and sector, I am at work, unfortunately.

Also, I.M. Handsome, you should realize that a lot of colleges use the common app, which only has room for a limited amount of activities, and on top of that, those same colleges often prefer that you do not attach a resume with all your activities on them. So if you do really do all these things, colleges won't see about half of them and if you do attach a resume to show them everything, they'll probably just get annoyed at you.

That sounded like veiled sarcasm; I literally lol'd. And, before I forget, everything about the OP, from the title of his thread to his username to his insipid demeanor, bears the stench of a pompous, egotistical, and narcissistic moron. Congratulations my friend (ugh, that phrase is now irrevocably McCain-ish), you are going to achieve very little if you believe life is about overworking yourself for the sole purpose of surpassing others and then subsequently deprecating them.

i just mentioned it as a linebacker because i believed that you probably didn't play any sports, and this was what you would know. i like how you create your own swear filter by putting asterisks into words. i dont really care anymore if you get into better colleges than me, even though i doubt you will, considering my higher gpa.. but anyways, i don't care anymore, you don't matter to me enough for me to give a damn. pz

You sound truly unbearable. Where I live, we have a name for people like you-- pompous douchebag. I cannot possibly believe that you have any friends. Also, not to belittle those who volunteer (it is a very noble thing to do), but which would be harder to do: be elected president of a volunteer club, where all of your duties are organizational, or being elected captain of either a sports team or an academic team (e.g. Quiz Bowl, Science Olympiad)? Probably the latter, just because the captain tends to have an actual skill, not just an abiltiy to delegate. I might be wrong, I just highly doubt it.
