A Little early but...

I just finished my freshman year and my final grades (grades that will go on my transcript) and 2 B+'s and 4 A-'s and 1 A. Is this acceptable for Penn???

Absolutely not. You will definitely be rejected.

[/sarcasm]

I hate threads like this.

Obviously you know that having 2 B+s doesn't disqualify you from contention... But at the same time, you know that they're not as good as 2 A+s. So what do you want people to say?
Not to mention that freshman year grades are less important than sophomore and junior year grades...

I suggest giving it 100% during your junior year...

Junior year is a lot more likely to make a statement. 2 B+'s freshman year won't hurt NEARLY as much as 2 B+'s junior year.

thanks. that's all i needed to know. i wasn't feeling too sure of myself...

It's a bit too early to be caring about college. Have fun, enjoy high school, it'll fly right by.

i know, i'm gonna miss freshman year. it did go by pretty quickly when i look back. that's probably when i'm going to have my easiest classes. lol

if those are your easiest classes and your getting B+'s kiss your chances at Penn goodbye.....honestly go get a life....your a freshman you should have no idea where you want to go to college

listen FRESMAN- by no means are ur freshman year grades going to determine whether you get in or not. do not go to this website again until mid-sophomore year or early junior year. there is no point in even having this thread b/c there is no way to tell antyhing from a few grades. PEACE

Lmmmmfaooooooo

ok ok geez. i'm sorry! good bye...

Sorry franchize, you'll soon learn that 90% of the people on CollegeConfidential are monstrous jerks.

As it were, reading stats and all that good stuff on here often kills one's confidence. The majority of people on CC are smart, else, why the Hell would they be here? Reading stuff here makes you feel extremely incompetent if you have a 3.9 and a 2150...but in reality, those stats are pretty solid.

Don't let these guys discourage you; do what you will.

lol, thanks...
