A little question about the newcomer's guide pic:

Does anybody have information/an opinion on whether it would be weird to pick among our formal senior pictures for the newcomer's guide photo? It would be super convenient for me to just choose one of these, but I realize that if everyone's including his/her silly facebook pic then my selection of a senior pic could appear stuffy and pretentious.

Oh well. Not that big of a deal.
ridiculous excitement for Rice

put something you like. You get a couple types of pictures

The over the top formal studio pictures. Most people look nothing like those pictures

A overdone picture. My mom made me send my passport picture from 10th grade. I have been asked to show alternate ID in an airport because I look totaly different than that picture with my hair combed back BLAAAAAAAAHH

Casual pictures. Id recommend this

Funny pics. My good friend put a picture of him in a Viking Hat in the book. was kinda awesome

It’s kind of nice to have something that is “you”, too. DD had the home team baseball cap. We were obviously not from TX. :)

Doesn’t matter. Though you might wanna look hot cuz the newcomer’s guide is the “meat sheet” for screw your roommate…haha

So, basically make sure it looks hot? =]

Thanks guys,

@silentsailor: love the candor =)

lol @silentsailor, nice observation.

Heck yeah…gotta do your Excel spreadsheet ranking the hotties and the notties.

^^ creepy :P

you need to get the names but facebook stalk people. teach them properly!

Most people send in their senior portraits, but it’s really up to you. Just send a picture that actually looks like you.
