I am a sophomore, and I'm struggling in Precalc and Chemistry this year - 92 and 91, respectively. Last year was all A+.

My UW GPA is still a 4.0. Do colleges even care about individual class grades? The most selective colleges I can realistically hope to.afford are W&M and Rochester ; regardless of where I go, however, I will need lots of fin aid. Will this hurt my chances?

(By the way, sorry if I sound like I'm overreacting, I don't mean to)

If they count the same it shouldn’t matter. But at my school an A is 94-100, so getting a 93 would hurt your GPA if you were trying to have something near a 4.0. So you’re lucky if your school considers 91 an A.
I don’t see the point of all the plus/minus stuff…can they really know your grade with that level of certainty anyway? An A is an A.

Cutoff points for As and A-s varies for each school. I’m not sure how other districts and do their transcripts, but the numeric grade may or may not be on there. Ask your counselor about it.

Psh. At my old school district, an 89 to 92 is a B+. Thank god my transcript shows percentages not letter grades. The only thing my old school has ever done right, lol.

ugh stop worrying please an A- is a good grade and you literally have a 4.0UW GPA so I’m not really sure what your worries are…
Congrats btw, but please stop making pointless worry threads
