a much traditional school?

the name of Trinity seems much religious atmosphere.
read from her website I learnt that too many strange traditions transfered many years ago. is it too much?

Please... is there no one care to answer me?

Is Trinity way too "traditional" that makes it seemingly weird at times?
Will the social life be boring?

Far from a religious school. Absolutely normal in every way. Students are no different than at any other of its rival liberal arts schools in New England such as Williams, Weslyan, Amherst etc. What in the world have you heard?

are you the one from cuus?
i know your id~~~~lol

What kind of traditionalism are you NOT looking for? Trinity is a New England LAC; they will have certain traditions and stick by them. I don't think the kids are eating cat eyes or anything that odd. And, they don't have "Skull & Bones" there, but I'm sure they have their share of oddities and bizarro traditions.

I don't think Trinity has any strange traditions... the most "outlandish" that I can think of is the lemon squeezer tradition. It is passed down from class to class, and used to squeeze a lemon at Convocation. We don't even drink the juice. As a matter of fact, they bought barrels of Minute Maid for us to drink.

Another tradition is to avoid a certain stone along the Long Walk, because there is an inscription commemorating a speech that Theodore Roosevelt made at the college in 1918. Rumor has it that you won't graduate in four years if you step on it. It's rather cute actually, to see pedestrian traffic flowing furiously, but circumventing a 12 inch by 12 inch stone in front of Nortam Towers. However, since construction is being done on the Long Walk, no one is allowed on that path anyway. Furthermore, not stepping on the stone is out of respect, just as much as it is out of naivete.

We don't worship any inanimate objects or sacrifice goats... at least not during the week. Heh..

The social life is great here. The weekend starts on Thursday, and until Sunday night is scattered with a plethora of activities for students of all different lifestyles to participate in. You won't get bored or freaked out here, I promise.

yeah, Trinity is amazing. You will not find a school with a better balance of working and partying. The library is PACKED up through Friday, and then the social scene takes over. Trust me, come here, you won't regret your decision. Homecoming tomorrow--Beat Wesleyan!!!!!
