A nice restaurant in San Francisco.

<p>Hey guys,</p>

<p>a bunch of friends are organizing a birthday party for another friend (she's a girl), so we want to go to a nice restaurant in San Francisco (none of us if from NorCal and she is). It would be nice if it is not that far from Union square/powell and not that expensive too.. we are college students after all.. something around 20 for a meal would be good. It should also be nice place.. i want to make a cool party :). And i already know cheesecake factory, but she has been there several times and it would be nice if it's something else. And also Buca di Beppo is closed for rennovation.</p>

<p>If I were you I would make it up to the north beach area. Just one bus ride from powell street and you're there. There's countless good restaurants there: thai, italian, good burritos, etc. Plus that's where the clubs are!</p>

<p>Probably too late, but agree with north beach area. I love Calzones, which I think is on Columbus or just off Columbus.</p>

<p>oh, i just got back from the birthday actually. Thank you for your replies..
but i couldn't use them because it's too late.. We went to Daily Grill. It's a nice place and the personnel were very nice too.</p>
