A Play?!

Hey guys,
For he question in the Brown Application that talks about getting to know the applicant better, and basically we can write anything we want, I was thinking of writing a script to a play in which I am a character. Do you think this is creative? Or perhaps cliched?

It's been done before. It is definitely a risk, because if you bomb, then you will probably bomb badly. But if it works, it could help you.

That actually sounds pretty cool...I talked about scripts and playwriting and just gave vivid descriptions of some of the performances...wish I thought to do an actual script for an essay...don't worry, I already gave my application in! =)

haha its cool
but i prbbly wont do the script thing. maybe sly_vt is right, maybe it is a bit overplayed? too bad all the good ideas are already taken :(

I don't think sly_vt was trying to say that it is overused...there are only so many creative ways you can write an essay besides, well, writing an essay. It is only obvious that a script has been done before, but it doesn't mean that it is trite. but i do agree, unless you are completely sure that you can do a great job on it, go the traditional route but use your cool writing talents!
