ronty is high school diploma in yor country required for german visa application?

in india high school diploma in specific is never askd for .. pl have got their visas without that and i have also submitted my app and got it cleared without it.. Now i am waiting for the procesing time ot get off to get my visa.. in june.

SM

^^^ Yes. I m from India too, so the process is the same as SM said.

NO!!!
A few kids in my batch were asked to reapply in June cuz they hadn't yet gotten their HS certificate.
For some reason, they didn't ask me and a few others.

ASP, you applies to Germany also??

I'm not sure abt Germany. But, thought it better to inform you guys abt that necissity.

SM hasnt got his HS marksheet yet, but still he has applied for the VISA. So I believe the criteria is a bit different for Germany.

yes. only my highly informed posts should be retained. others are speculating.
[silence]

xoxox

chill. was just messing with you. no need to edit your post to make it sound more bitter than before :D if you were at iub, you would get offended way too often. heh. ask SM about what i mean.

EDIT: And just to be a bit more anal, I will re-edit the post to point out that you used "advise" twice, with an S, so can't be a typo. the noun form is advice with a C. dont kill me.

btw I came to post this,
damn, feels like i'm studying in a company..... :sigh:

hmm.. well.. den i think i am undecided major.. well.. do ppl really come to iub undecided about their potential major..

heheh well even though technically ppl dont come undecided but most of times they usually are and that is what college is all about..i mean i can safely bet that a sizeable number of ppl at any college change majors in 1st yr after checking out courses ... so in a way they come undecided but on ppr they are actually into particular major and school ...

as of ASP , man i appreciate what u mean but well for germany yes you dont need a HS certificate for INDIA. First of all never compare any visa process with the US visa process for it is the most weird and unique process throughout the world. .. Had you said this from UK or european experiance then ok coz well there is still a level of uniformity in their proceedure and processing style..

Well for german visa in india , in contrast to US visa , You only need a 1st yr funding proof, A health Insurance confirmation , No i-20 , No interview as in based on intention to come back or stufff... and loads more

I wont elaborate but those are some small points where any european visa difers frm a US one..and also german visas are rarely rejected.

SM

Getting a german visa should not be too difficult..i got mine pretty easy and quickly...
p.s. Merc :P , that email does make IUB sound like some company, its funny...BTW do you know anything about JAM and the end-of-the-year festival? Seems like there's a lot of stuff coming up in the next 15 days...I know JAM has something to do with music (genius is my middle name, as u know already) but what is it exactly? Another H3 party?

p.p.s to everyone else, sorry for posting the message above ^ which was mostly irrelevant to anything else being discussed here, but u see its easier to catch merc online than offline so i just had to ... hehe

if u are taking abt jam in english wala stuff then its a type of elocution contest with only blabber and no sense...

if any musical then merc knws..:p

[/quote]
End-of-year festival is on 28th. I'm supposed to be one of the organizers, being from IWave, but last sunday I kept sleeping till like 5 so didn't attend the meeting. Don't worry we're gonna sort that out, AND it's going to be one of the most amazing extravaganzas IUB has ever seen..... lol yeah creating hype is also one of my jobs.

As for JAM, I have honestly NO idea.... if it anything to do with music or the music club then I would know. From what I know, NO IUB BAND is performing on the 28th. BUT (as a spoiler) it might be referring to the rock concert we'll have, where only non-IUB bands will play..... they come from far and wild.....

But you mean the non IUB bands will perform at the end of the year festival right? That's not JAM coz JAM is on the night of the 26th ... Sebastian said its music related so I thought you'll know but now that I think of it, its probably just another H3 party...
And, you're one of the organisers of the EOTYFest? When are u going to study for ur EE exam then :P

Yeah right.. as if I'm setting the stage up or something .. :p
Being in Iwave, I have the right to claim credit for it if the party turns out awesome... otherwise not ;)

And well... whatever JAM is, let it be. Since no one bothered to inform even the music club members then let that secret operation be secret... and I can see your excitement about it....for a particular reason :D hheheeheheh..

....the only IUB band performing in the end of year festival just pulled out...so its gonna be only outside bands....plus we dont get to enjoy it since we have a Physics exam on Monday (here that mercury squad...so get studying).....

well.. seems like its one big thing sought after ..

well does anyone have any idea which band wud be coming in..?

SM

haha JJ !!
guess what, WE ARE PLAYING TOMORROW NIGHT!!
and we were ASKED to.
but that means i gotta get done with physucks now..

and by the way, the band performing at IUB tomorrow is called "freakshow" .. from Oldenburg I think (not sure). They have some really cool songs up on their site. of course Jetlag is also playing.

yeah linkin park most definitely are not coming.

heeheh just thought of pulling this up... this is sooo IUBish heheeheh
