Unfortunately there isn't anything on Guadalupe around campus that is romantic. You're going to have to venture a little further from campus for anything decent. </p>
<p>How you go about that depends on your girlfriend. Optimally you could convince a friend to let you borrow their car or at least give you a ride. Besides that... would she be okay/comfortable walking or taking the bus or taking a taxi? Can you afford the latter?</p>
<p>There are plenty of places downtown that are nice. I'm particularly fond of an Italian place called la traviata located on south congress around 4th. It's amazing. If you do decide to go there, do make a reservation. Seating is a little tight at times. Ask for one of the front tables or maybe a window table if possible. </p>
<p>Being downtown gives the benefit of being close to a lot of really close "date" stuff like the capitol and sixth street.</p>
