So for the roommate essay, do we have to touch upon multiple topics? since there are only 250 words, I feel if you talk about 4 topics to makes it seem contrived…I wrote the essay central around I topic, but i tried to use it to show my personality/how I would react in situations.
However, Ive been getting advice that I should write it on more topics? What do you guys suggest?

That’s the right idea. I’ve seen successful roommate essays that were unified and ones that were all over the place. There’s definitely no template, but showing the “everyday” side of you that isn’t in your other essays is the best call.
