A question for you all about SAT:

OK i took the march sat
math: 710
reading: 790
writing: 740 (essay 9, MC 74)

THEN THE MAY SAT:
math:710
reading: 800
writing: 800 (essay 11, MC 80)

I mean I'm super happy and i know there are no schools that would turn me down with that score.
but i also know that if i study my butt off, i could bring my math up to at least a 750, maybe more. (i have not studied for math) and i know that if I get close to a 2400, i could feel really nice and confident about getting myself into one of these schools.
Stanford (my love) does not accept "score choice" so I am scared to take it again and look like a wierdo who wasn't happy with a perfectly good score. like a repeated test taker loonie.
or i could retake the Sat after i apply EA to stanf and then send in those new scores to other schools to which i apply regular decision.

LEt me know!!!!

Is “studying your butt off” worth a 40 point increase? I would rather focus on other aspects of my application.

What happens if the second SAT 1 score is lower than the first SAT 1?

You have the same chances of being accepted to any school with a 2310 as if you had a 2400.

like cupnoodles said, you should spend the time focusing on other aspects of your application.
