Okay, so I got 1870 in the last SAT I gave (with absolutely no preparation). And now, I'm sort of motivated to work towards a better score. And I've already studied from various books and given 6 practice tests from the Blue Book. My scores are: 1980, 2030, 2020, 2120, 2150, 2220. I think if I practice more, I can get up to a 2300. Now, my question is: can CB cancel my scores if there's a big jump from 1870 to about 2300 (like a 430 point jump). I'm actually quite confident about getting at least about 2250. I hope I'm not coming off as arrogant, but I truly think that if I work hard enough, I can get to 2300.

Well, if you get like 1900 in October then 2300 in Nov. they might cancel it cuz it’s hard to get 300+ more points in just 1 month, but if the time between the two tests is 3 months or more I don’t think they wouldn’t cancel it.

Well, I got 1870 in May 2011.
And I’ve been working my arse off since then.
And I’m not exactly dumb, I’m just a terrible test taker.
Thank you!

They will give you the choice of retaking and getting within 100 points of each section (whichever ever of the 2 scores is higher will be the one you get, ex. if you originally got 700,730,700 and on retake you got 700,700,690, you would keep your original) for it to be counted valid. I don’t know if they will suspect you of cheating or not.
