A Story To Keep Your Hopes Up

To anyone applying again for either acceptance or financial aid I hope this makes you feel a little bit better about your chances.

I applied in the 8th grade for a spot at Chatham Hall. I needed full financial aid and both of my triplet sisters were applying with me. We all three recieved acceptances however no FA at all. I was heart broken and had already decided to apply again next year. This year (9th grade year) I applied again this time with only one of my triplet sisters seeing how my other triplet sister decided she did not want to go to BS anymore. I was accepted again and this time put on the FA waitlist (a big step up huh :D) Anyway my mom recieved a call the other day from the rector of the school to tell her that the school was willing to offer me and my sister that applied full FA and even to offer it to my sister who did not apply and all she would have to do is send in an application. I was ecstatic! This was the best thing that could have ever happened to me and I can not wait to go next year as a 10th grader.

Hope this makes someone feel better about their chances.

P.S. there may be some things about this situation different than others like I went to a camp at CH for 5 years during the summer and the rector of the school I've actually met and talked with and it's wierd cause he would be at the school during the summer so I knew him before I had applied. But I still hope this helps

good for you leaping

OMG. first off how cool to be a triplet! Second, CONGRATS TO ALL THREE OF YOU. And the one sister that didn’t even apply, wow. I don’t think you can get any luckier than that. =)

Congratulations!!

Congratulations, you must be so psyched! Chatham Hall is a great school.

Ha yeah being a triplet is pretty cool. But the sister that didn’t apply doesn’t want to go any more and my mom is making her go becuase this is such an amazing opportunity (and I see that and I’m psyched) but I feel bad for my sister becuase she doesn’t even want to go and I don’t want it to be like were on our way and I’m like yay I’m so excited and her to be like lets go home.

I congratulate you on this, it must feel amazing! I hope you have fun at boarding school. :).

amazing! and congrats! and i hope your sister finds that she likes CH
