Schools applying to: Stanford, MIT, Cornell, Northwestern, Brown, Princeton, Upenn, Duke, University of Texas (safety)

Honestly, if I were you, I would contemplate suicide. It seems that it’s the only escape from your miserable shell of existence.

A few more points higher on the ACT might spare you however, but even then homelessness is probably your best option.

Stanford/MIT/Princeton-Reach
Cornell/NW/Brown/Penn/Duke-Match
UT-In

Good Luck!

Realistically, I have a very strong feeling you will get into one or two of those schools (besides UT), and it is possible (more likely than not) that you will get into two or three.
1 school: 70% chance
2 schools: 30% chance
3 schools: 10% chance

Borderline at all except Texas, though S and P are a major stretch. Nothing would keep out out of these schools. Hopefully through your essays and recs they were given a reason to want your presence on campus.

You know, it’s rather gaggy to do the whole “poor me, I’m so subpar” and then show a 2200+ SAT, 33 ACT, GPA of 4.0, top 10 rank in your class, etc. It sounds like you’re fishing for compliments.

hmm it seems that youll get into most of the schools, but your lack of confidence will guaranteee academic probation or failing out first semester good luck! =D

“You know, it’s rather gaggy to do the whole “poor me, I’m so subpar” and then show a 2200+ SAT, 33 ACT, GPA of 4.0, top 10 rank in your class, etc. It sounds like you’re fishing for compliments.”

Sorry pizzagirl but you, as a senior member, should know that the people (especially asians) on CC are extremely qualified; I am an underachiever compared to them. Also, it is common knowledge that an unhooked over represented minority without a 2300+ has a greatly diminished chances at these top colleges.

Knew an Indian kid last year from my school who was accepted into Yale with a 2210 SAT score and a 3.7 GPA, he was a member of our football team too (Tight End) and he had a lot of good ECs.

Agree w/ Pizzagirl. Gaggy. Fishing for compliments.

That said, you are not a shoo-in for any but Texas. Most applicants to Stanford, MIT, Cornell, Northwestern, Brown, Princeton, Upenn and Duke look a lot like you. So, maybe.

I am sure the OP will have a great shot at Duke, Penn, Northwestern, and Cornell. Schools like Stanford, MIT, Princeton and Brown is where it will get rough.

Can’t the OP not put down his race or put down something else since Indians are not really Asian?

Indian = Asian.

And I meant to say that I’m in a rural part of Texas. So i’m in the “middle of nowhere”, Texas.

Have to agree with Pizzagirl.

Pizzagirl – agreed.

UT - IN
S- reach
P- reach
MIT- reach
C- match
NW- match
UP- low reach
B- reach
D- low reach

Chance me please!
