A 'W' Fall quarter

Hey,

So I'm working 40 hours a week this quarter (2 job 25+15). And I didn't work my freshman year so I didn't know how hard it would be (I know some people who get 4.0s with 40 hour work week but i'm not that smart).

Anyways, I most likely will get a C in the class (upper division math class, and i'm a math major). But there's a small chance i could get a D and a small chance i could get a B. My gpa is 3.5 and i go to UCSD. I am applying to transfer to berk, and i want to know if i tell them on the application (in the additional information section) about how my job is a lot of work and so i dropped this class if that will greatly hurt my chances.

Thanks for your input.

Honestly a few Ws won't hurt your application overall. A "W" is better than a C/D in my opinion. Depending upon what type of class, I say keep the B since you're already have a 3.5. And I'm not being condescending towards you. In respect to Cal, your essay will be crucial. I personally think that you should explain your workload and grades in your statement and not in the additional information section.
