About cafeteria

i’m in 114 Mills (your assignment gives you the address of the building)

Ok, Pierre, I’m in 113 Eaton (38) B, the assignment wrote the type of it is 2 person apartment. So it should be Thronhill villiage right? Is it close by to where u assigned to?

gotcha, it’s kinda close i guess, all the buildings are in the same area

nice! The only thing I’m worried is that my move in date on the assignment says Aug.14th…I sent a email to ask if I can move early since I have to be there aug. 9th…hopefully, they’ll let me do that…

they should let you move in early especially if your orientation date is so late

Well, I have recieve the reply from student housing. They told me I can move in early with special reason approval, however, they’ll put a extra charge on me($16 per day until the regular day of move in) which means it would cost me extra 80 dollars for those 5 days…it really sucked, but it’ll be much cheaper than fly back to Oklahoma for 5 days and then go back to clemson…so I guess I don’t have another option

hmm i would talk to the orientation people and see if they can give you approval to live somewhere without getting charged.

Thank you, Pierre. I really appreciate :)

Thanks,Pierre! I have checked the plan…definitely, Harcombe is the choice.

Hey Pierre, how healthy would you say the food is? I’m big into fitness and looking to maintain a proper diet when I go down. For example, some staples of my diet tend to be:

eggs, vegetables, fruit, lean meats, whole wheat bread, brown rice, oatmeal, peanut butter, MILK

eggs - there is scrambled eggs every morning
vegetables - with lunch and dinner meals, there are vegetable sides
fruits - available at every mean
whole wheat bread - there’s a corner where there’s always bread and i’m sure there is whole wheat bread (i’m a white bread guy haha)
brown rice - nope not really, most rice is just regular white rice
oatmeal - i don’t think we have oatmeal, probably got to buy that yourself if you want it
peanut butter - available at the bread/sandwiches station
milk - tons of milk available

There are healthy options at every meal, it’s just up to yourself what you eat and the food does get old after a semester (it’s on a 3 week rotation but you’ll figure that out pretty soon). I got lazy and started drinking soda and getting burgers at every meal and this semester I ended up crashing from too much sugar and putting on some weight. I definitely need to start watching my diet next semester.
