I am a just year-one student and finish introduction level course of micro and macro economics. And also, for summer session student, will they have class with regular UCB student or have their own class?

You are taking courses with UCB students and students from other schools as well, and there might be other international students. I did not take econ 100a and 100b, but from my friends who have taken the two courses said they are not too difficult. However, because most pre-econ major students taking these courses, they are really competitive though, which mean it maybe hard to get a better grades. And you can search the course schedule on [Search Summer - Online Schedule Of Classes](http://schedule.berkeley.edu/srchsmr.html) to see who teaches the course.

I had a friend who took the courses over the summer and says they are far easier than the courses during the spring and the fall. There will be UCB students, but usually, the students who take classes during the summer are not as competitive as the regular students. And there will be a lot of students from other schools :)
