Hey,
I am planning on taking Econ 100 over summer. which one is easier, 100A or 100B?

I can’t answer this because it depends on you as an individual. I took Econ 1 last spring and thought the micro portion was easier than the macro portion. I took UGBA 101A last fall and got an A. I’m taking UGBA 101B this semester and got a B+ on the midterm and need to ace the final. Maybe I did better in 101A because it’s so heavily math based and I like math. They’re roughly the same difficulty-wise, it depends on what you like more.

I thought Econ microeconomics was easier than macroeconomics

but…one more question, I’ve talked to one of the counselors and she advised me not to take econ 100 A or B over summer because it’s a 17 weeks course taken in 8 weeks. is it that difficult if I’m only taking one course?

If you’re only taking one course, you should definitely be fine. I say go for it.

what if I choose an american cultures class too?

(i’m doing it for summer financial aid)
