what did you guys say? is it better to write that you want to be considered for loan? what if you really don't want loan?

i dont think itss of too much consequence...i do believe you can say no and ask for a loan later anyways.

By answering yes, the college will be able to structure a total financial aid package for you including subsidized loans.

You can always turn down any portion of a financial aid package. But if you answer no and then realize you need a loan afterall, its possible you will only be able to get an unsubsidized loan at that point.

A "yes" does not take away from the grants. It just gives you a line on loans, which may be valuable.

I tried to fill out the yes, but the form wouldn't take my address or telephone number. :)
