About filling ISFAA

Hey !
I had few queries about filling the ISFAA form. These are the few questions:

  1. Should all the details be filled in capital letters?
  2. Is there a specific pen color to use while manually filling it?
3)In the parent section should I fill my mothers detail even if she is unemployed or should she be considered dependent?
  3. If I am applying early decision should I also involve all the colleges I’ll apply later in RD in the colleges list?
5)if I am applying for fall 2020 which is the latest version I should be filling?

You will file the 2020-2021 form.

Usually black pen is suggested when filling out forms.

Handwriting must be legible.

Read the instructions on the first page.

On FAFSA, dependent or independent is used to describe the student, not a parent. If you live with your mother and you are not considered independent under FAFSA rules, you must include your mother’s information, even if she is unemployed.

If you know the RD colleges, you can add them now or wait until later.

Fall 2020 is part of the 2020-2021 academic year. Use the 2020-2021 FAFSA.

@BelknapPoint this student is asking about the ISFAA…not the FAFSA…

But I do agree, there are likely directions!

Oops… totally missed that. Never mind. Where’s my coffee?

Yes , the questions were for ISFAA. One more question , so while printing the form should it be color printed because when its black and white the boxes do not appear?
