Ok so once you transfer to the UC your GPA gets reset. But when you apply to graduate school they still look at the courses you took at the CC right? Do they take your GPA then from the time you spent at CC and the time you spent at a UC and just average it together?

I kinda hope not bc I haven't done so well in dumb classes not for my major. I got a B- in college algebra my first semester in CC, a C+ in intro to physics, and I might get a B in World History (stupid participation points lol).

I was kind of hoping they'll just look at the classes like Gen Chem, O-Chem, Physics, Bio, Calc, etc. But I doubt it.

It depends on the graduate school. Of course, the more selective (as in impacted) the graduate school, the more likely they will need to use a greater breadth of factors in determining their decision.

Why did you get those B’s and C’s? What was the point? You seem like a very intelligent person. Had you put in a few more hours of work I think you are perfectly capable of getting excellent grades across the board. This isn’t high school anymore; real life doesn’t begin after college. This is real life. You’re smart; so stop being lazy!
