about grades (read, it's complicated to explain in title)

So I took a running class at CCC during the summer worth 1 credit. I got a B. I will be transferring from UCI to another CCC. Is that B going to be part of my GPA? It apparently still counts as a 3 (woot!). I'm not sure, but hopefully, since it's 1 credit, it won't be a big factor in my GPA.

If its transferrable then yes. The more credits a course is, the more weight a grade you get for it is. A B in a 4 unit course has more weight than a B in a 3 unit course.

umm... right. possibly your school has low standards. Honestly, I got a B because the guy didn't like me. In our 12 minute runs, I told him I improved by 2 laps since we started the class, and he replied," You're sandbaggin' me fool." What he did not know is that I was in cross-country for 4 years and I hadn't run track, so I was very slow in the beginning but I easily improved. Also, he gave a test on nutrition, but I didn't do bad on that.

I'm just saying a grade in a 5 unit course is "worth" more than a grade in a 1 unit course. Soo a bad grade in a 5 unit course affects your GPA more than the same grade in a 1 unit course.

oh, I wasn't talking about your post. There was someone with a rude comment (I guess it was deleted). Thanks for the helpful comment AwakenZero.

Yeah, it was deleted.

Pfft, but if i go, so goes my wealth of transfer info... ha.
