<p>Since my native language is not English, my teachers and consellors would not help me to write recommendations in English, and they haven't time enough, so i have to draft them on my own.</p>

<p>I'll just give you general tips... </p>
<ol>
<li><p>Don't go listing your ECs and courses and such. Boring. If you are using them at all focus on one. </p></li>
<li><p>Do not use too much elaborate language.</p></li>
<li><p>Be truthful. (duh...)</p></li>
</ol>
<p>I've asked my counselor to write one in our native language, and my English teacher agreed to help us translate it into English...</p>
<p>Anyway, focus on what you think is UNIQUE :]</p>
