About my unweighted cumulative GPA

I recently transferred to a new highschool. When I apply to Harvard, I know I have to send both highschool transcripts. The problem is that my new highschool does not calculate my old highschool GPA for the cumulative unweighted GPA. So if I apply to Harvard, are they going to recalculate the unweighted cumulative GPA using regular formula ( 6 semesters / 6? )

Does it really matter? Harvard is going to get both transcripts and both GPAs. How they want to arrange their own data isn’t really relevant to the applicant.
